L'olivo Ristorante Italiano in Ratingen

We say thank you to Ervin and his team for the delicious Christmas and New Year's Eve menus. Both the fish and the meat dishes were great. And absolutely nothing could go wrong with the included preparation instructions. We can also only recommend the "TAKE AWAY" dishes. However, we are already hoping that things will soon return to normal and that we can enjoy the delicious food in a cozy atmosphere at L'olivo.

We had pre-ordered and picked up the New Year's Eve menu. All courses were a dream, just perfectly prepared and delicious as always. We look forward to coming back to the restaurant soon.

I was actually only there because the chef looks so stunningly sexy, but the food reflects that with 100% and more, again and again.

A real treasure! L’olivo is an incredibly lovely restaurant and is characterized by EXCELLENT quality. Ervin is an incredibly good cook and always cares about the well-being of his guests. I would like to give 10 stars

Expensive, bad and unfriendly service and inflexible kitchen. Special request: a tiny change to the pasta dish was rejected I add: Yes, the owner made an effort and informed that my wishes for poultry could not be fulfilled. The information regarding my request for alcohol-free was also processed. But it would have been better to show alternatives. I expressly emphasize: This is not a "fundamental misery", the customer should be king and above a certain price limit I simply expect flexibility.

At pleasant temperatures, we were able to find a free space outside of the L'olivo restaurant today and convince ourselves of the quality of the recommendations. We can only confirm the positive statements. Here is cooked with love. It tastes very good. The boss Ervin welcomes his guests and makes sure that everything is OK. The service is good and the hygienic requirements are meticulously implemented. We would love to come back.

I am Italian, this is a real italian restaurant with chief and waitress from italy. Food and vine are great. I racomand antipasto and any pasta dish.

Small, cozy restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The map is clear. The food was typically Italian and very good. Visually and tastefully five stars. In addition there is very nice staff. On a Friday evening I was glad to have made a reservation.

The food was excellent. Incredibly delicious. The service very nice and quick. We were lucky enough to be able to eat there as it was full and we hadn't reserved. The chef even came out and asked us personally for our impressions. The price is worth it!

Surprisingly great Italian restaurant in Ratingen with a very homely ambiance. The menu is not huge, which indicates all the dishes are simple but deliver the best quality. The italian chef is extremely friendly and even comes over to tables to explain all the details of dishes when necessary. I truly enjoyed our corporate dinner with French customers. Highly recommended to visit and I would definitely come back.

Very delicious! Good mood, nice Italian chef will guide through the whole menu! Everything was amazing. Antipasti big plate is good enough for 3 persons who order a main course and desert. Highly recommended! Don't miss it in Ratingen!

A very good Italian in the Ratinger city center. The food was great and fresh. The waiters were very attentive and always in a good mood. The shop is very cozy and lovingly decorated. We will be back. ?

We have been here for the first time but definitely not for the last time. The small but fine menu combined with the daily specials holds all sorts of culinary delights. The staff is attentive and accommodating, without being intrusive. We really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the great food. Finally a strong espresso and the evening was round.
